Who controls your data

chat-ai is operated by REM Vision LLC, 11300 Rockville Pike, Suite 1001, Rockville, MD 20852, which is the data controller for the information described below.

What we collect

Your email address, your display name and custom instructions if you set them, your conversations and uploaded files, and your subscription status. Payment card details go to our payment processor and never reach our servers.

Where your messages go

To answer you, we send your message, the earlier messages in that conversation, and your custom instructions to the model provider you selected. That provider processes them under its own terms. Choosing a different model sends your text to a different company.

Why we keep it

Conversations are stored so you can return to them. Files are stored so you can reference them again. Subscription records are kept because we are required to keep billing records. Usage is recorded per message so we can enforce the daily ceiling.

Who else sees it

The model provider that answers you, our payment processor, our email provider, and our hosting and database providers. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share your conversations with advertisers.

Deleting things

Deleting a conversation removes it from our database. Deleting your account removes your conversations, files and settings; billing records are retained where the law requires it. Text already sent to a model provider is subject to that provider's retention, not ours.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Ask from the account page and we will action it, or write to REM Vision LLC, 11300 Rockville Pike, Suite 1001, Rockville, MD 20852.
